The cost for our end-to-end service starts from 10% ONLY of the nightly rate. It’s important to note that our fee structure is subject to negotiation, depending on the specific characteristics of your property.

We provide laundered linen and towels at a rate starting from R300 per month, which is deducted from the monthly rental income.

Any maintenance more than R500 will be quoted to owner first

Onboarding fee

An initial set up fee for onboarding the place ( which include cleaning, listing the property on different booking platforms & photography) which is recouped from the first month’s rental.

How to join?

Getting started with Awshost is quick and easy, with five hassle-free steps. . Once our team of experts have heard from you, we will be in touch to arrange a suitable meeting time in order to vet your establishment. After the contract has been discussed and you have decided to sign, we will conduct an extensive property audit, take professional photos of your property, create an impressive listing for your property and start managing the day-to-day processes and bookings for your short term rental. How is the payment process?

We pay you on or before the 1st of the month for the revenue earned in the preceding month less any expenses.

Do you screen guests?

We’re trained to spot red flags. We consider a variety of factors before allowing a booking to proceed and we always prioritise safety and security over occupancy. Although this is not an exact science, due to the fact that there are limited data points available to use, all guests must have a verified profile and be able to provide us with details about their trip. We also request all guests to send us a copy of their ID or passport before they arrive.

Do I need to purchase additional consumables for the apartment?

The goal of our service is to offer a complete service without you having to worry about the day-to-day management of your property. We take care of any items required such as tea, coffee, salt, toilet rolls etc. What we like to emphasise is that we do not add any kind of markup when procuring these items. If, for example and item costs us R100, then we charge you the same at the end of the month. This keeps our incentives aligned and promotes cost saving when making a purchasing decision.

What is the onboarding process?

Once you’re ready to get going, we’ll organise an onboarding meeting at your property and plan aspects such as: photography, ingoing deep clean, internet installation, SMART TV setup.We can also provide any items that are outstanding and add the expense to your monthly statement.

Do you provide linen and towels?

We provide hotel-quality linen and towels. Each delivery will include duvet covers, bed sheets, pillowcases, 4 bath towels per room, bath mats and hand towels. You will need to provide duvets inners, mattress protectors and pillows for each bed. We can also provide any items that are outstanding and add the expense to your monthly statement.

Can I rent out my room?

Awshost only manages entire property listings that can offer guests separate entrance accommodation to a self-catering home or apartment.

Can i set my own prices?

Our property management team is the primary point of contact for property owners. Your property manager is responsible of setting prices with you and also responsible for coordinating maintenance and maximizing booking performance. Each property Manager is given a small portfolio of properties to ensure we can keep your property in a show room ready condition.
